Ultimately everything in life is some form of art.
The art of life can be found in millions of ways.
It's a mom juggling all the responsibilities in her day....
It's navigating , with quick thinking, the best possible route through traffic...
It's learning to create a new meal...
It's in the hug of a good friendship....
It's in the ear of a seasoned listener....
It's in having a "good hair day" by working with what you have....
It's in resourcefulness....
It's being genuinely happy despite the whispers of negativity everywhere...
It's in the learning of how to stretch your means into something more...
It. Is. Simply. Everything.
Watching her pick up the camera, and so naturally holding it the correct way, made me smile.
A natural for sure.
We try to nurture, encourage, and challenge their creative minds.
To see the world around them "outside of the box".
To uncover the hidden layers of life the lie all around them.
To find the beauty, multiple truths, and the untold number of perspectives that are begging to be discovered.
To really challenge themselves to see the overwhelmingly gorgeous hues of the rainbows instead of the easiness of black and white.
Whether it's through photography, music, dance, writing, building, ect.
As long as they're thinking we are happy.
But rest assured... by the time they are 10 they will know all the aspects of aperture, shutter speed, white balance, ISO, depth of field, rule of 3rd's....
Hopefully by that time I will know them too! :)

Great post! Love the sweater =)
OMG--the shot of her looking at camera is you.
Warms my heart to see a little photographer in training!
Another Photographer!! Whohoo... she is so cute!
Awww another little photographer. I love her sweater. The face she is making in the picture of her looking at the camera is priceless. I take pictures just to scrapbook nothing close to the beautiful pictures you take but I do need to learn more of the stuff you were talking about. I might get better pictures if I knew all that. A friend of mine let her daughters that are Beth's age have her own little blog where they posted pictures that they took. Thought it might be something Beth would enjoy.
Very cute. She is a natural. I like the antique look of the pictures. Was that my camera when we visited? I see Seth's flip flop, I think! Have fun in Ireland!
Seth didn't say anything, this is Paula. He must have been on my computer. Silly boy! I am usually logged in. I will have to look more carefully when I post comments.
