Sam came home from school yesterday with this in his backpack.
This just about broke my heart and amazed me at the same time.
What makes you feel thankful, grateful, happy, lucky... blessed?
Please share. (It can be anonymous if you're shy :)
I'll start us off.
I am so grateful and blessed for the circle of people who surround me with an abundance of love and support in everything I do. I am thankful for all the loving encouragement that has been shown towards our family while we hurdle this "hiccup" on our road through life. I feel lucky to have healthy and beautiful children. I am grateful for the strong and mutual family commitment that Brian and I have towards our life together and our family. I am blessed to have so many positive people around us. Thinking of all the people out there struggling with their health and wishing they could have more time.... I am thankful to be adding another year onto my life on Thanksgiving day (totaling 35). I have genuine and sincere happiness for all my family and friends who have had some type of success or milestone within their own lives. For all the new babies who have been born and for those who will be here with us shortly. For those who have new jobs, promotions, new vehicles, new houses... for those who have finished paying off a debt, got to go on a vacation, made a new friend or reconnected with past relations, recovered from an illness or surgery. Now for all the frivolous things I am thankful for.... me learning how to round brush my hair, my polar fleece collection of clothing, unbunco nights, netflix, Old Navy's sweetheart jeans, the five times this year that my house has been clean, being introduced to the Sookie Stackhouse world, nikon, photoshop, and my macbook pro.
Your turn.

I am thankful for your willingness to listen, provide advice and not judge. I am thankful for your talents because you have captured my children's personalities and innocence. I am thankful for your children because they make me laugh and make me think. I am thankful for you!
I am thankful for my family. I am thankful for my family that is not blood related. With all of those amazing people in my life, I believe I can do anything. There is so much to be thankful for, and that is one of the reasons I love Thanskgiving so much. It helps us to stop us in our crazed day-to-day living and count our blessings.
A lovely post, and a wonderful person you are. :)
Your son touched my heart.
Thanks for sharing. :)
Sorry I forgot to tell you Happy Birthday and like your Thanksgiving poll. :)
Thanks Sandra.
I am thankful for my wonderful, healthy, beautiful, loving, crazy family and friends in our lives...and most of all I am thankful for the power to FORGIVE & FORGET!!
I am thankful that even though I screw up a lot, my kids manage to be thoughtful, sweet, funny, and content children. I am thankful for the internets that allow me to keep in touch with friends and family no matter how far away they are and the gnomes who have granted me just enough technical knowledge to use it. I am thankful that soon we will have a new president and for all the California sun. Happy Birthday Tara (do you remember your birthday party where I threw up in the plastic pumpkin in your Dad's bathroom-sorry Mr. Lesko)
I am thankful all my beautiful photos that I get. I know it seems like I am brown nosing but whenever I see a photo Tara has taken it lights up my day! My healthy family, my crazy clients (who is also my crazy family ;) love you all!! And for finally figuring out how to post a comment!!!
I am thankful that no matter what, you are my family and I can still come to you when I need help the most. I am thankful that you have been here my whole life to help guide me through whatever life brings my way and had a huge influence on the person I am today. I am thankful to have Brian, who has been there for me as much as you have even when he doesn't have to. And of course I'm thankful for Sam and Bethy who make me feel special everytime I see them. I, too, am thankful that Nick is with Jack, General, and Chelsea.
I don't know who the moderator is for these comments, but my two attempts at writing very thoughtful and lengthy lists of all of my grateful things have not been posted. I was only doing it for you Tara since you know what a tough time I have with this stuff. So now all that you are getting from me is cream cheese. I was very thankful for cream cheese this past holiday as it is an amazing condiment. You can use it in dips, pasta, potatoes, pies and it still manages to make an onion bagel taste that much more delicious. That's all you're gonna get from me now. Love ya!
